May 2014 Visiting Teaching

May is one of my favorite months to create a visiting teaching handout because it gives me the opportunity to look through all the General Conference talks from April and then choose one of my favorites to share.  It is always hard to choose, because let’s face it, all the talks are wonderful, but I particularly enjoyed Elder Holland’s talk The Cost- and Blessings- of Discipleship.    I love the firm, strong, and yet loving and kind way he bears his testimony and exhorts us to do the same.  If you get a chance I highly encourage you to go back and read his talk.

In the meantime here is the handout I created for you to take or mail to the ladies you visit teach.

  1. What a perfect reminder as to how we should live our lives. I love the strong color used as a background with softer colors to compliment it. A perfect message …one we all need. You are so good to give of your time and talent to others….thanks so much…know that you are appreciated!

  2. This is beautiful! I was able to share it with some sisters at a Relief Society activity this weekend and they loved it! Thanks so much.

    1. You’re very welcome! Thank you for sharing my handout and taking the time to leave a comment, it is appreciated!

  3. Thank you, this is beautiful! I’m printing it off to hang in my laundry room. (Random – but I spend a lot of time in there.) ;)
