Down the street from our house is a restaurant called Not Your Average Joe’s and we often walk down and eat some of their yummy food. It’s a local chain here in MA and I think it is in a couple other eastern states as well. The best thing in the restaurant (in my opinion) is the warm bread and dipping sauce that they bring out before your meal. I could eat it just by itself. I knew the ingredients couldn’t be too complicated so I decided to try and replicate it at home. It was pretty yummy too if I do say so myself.
Stir it all together until well combined. If you aren’t ready to serve it right away then you can put it in the fridge until time to eat. But right before serving drizzle about 1/4 cup of olive oil over the cheese.
Now if you want to follow my recipe exactly, then at this point you’ll want to realize that the plate you are using is much too small and spill about half of the olive oil on the counter. Pause to clean it all up, wipe off the plate, and start again. Just keepin’ it real people.
But after that…. serve it up with some warm bread and dig in!
The ingredient measurements are just guidelines. If you like it a little cheesier throw in some more cheese. A garlic glutton? Go ahead with more garlic, no one will stop you. This is a perfect party appetizer or yummy afternoon snack. Super quick and easy to put together, you can’t go wrong!
