Embellishing Paper Lunch Sacks for Easter

Today I have a few quick ideas on how you can decorate something you probably already have lying around your house and it is right in time for Easter.  I’m talking about paper lunch sacks.  You can get like 5,000 for $0.99.  And in just a couple of minutes with some scrapbook paper and a few embellishments you can have some adorable treat bags.

Take some scrapbook paper and cut it to fit on the front and back of the bag. Glue or tape it on top.  Trace around a shape and then cut out with an exacto knife.  On the inside of the bag tape another piece of coordinating paper or clear cellophane to cover the hole.

This one is so easy and adorable.  Fold over the edge of your bag and if you’d like you can cover the fold with paper.  Then hole punch along the edge and tie ribbons through the hole punches.

See how easy it can be to take something as ordinary as a paper lunch sack and turn it into something fun and different?  And this isn’t just for Easter.  Check out this bag all dolled up for a baby shower.
